Monday Thrifting and Goodies for Erin

Erin just mentioned this morning, she wants all the Laurell K. Hamilton books. I hung up the phone and was out the door for a short thrift expedition. And the first book I found was Danse Macabre by Hamilton! Lucky Erin. Got a few more books for me, then it was all about Erin again. I found the two linen hand embroidered, never washed dishtowels for fifty cents. Then I found her three giant navigational maps which she can cut up (twenty five cents). One is even of Jacksonville and Palatka waterways... but then, TADA, six cool old dessert cups! They will blend nicely with her growing out of control Pyrex/Corelle collection. I can't tell if they were Fire King, Pyrex, or what, but they are just right for pudding, jello, or little ice cream sundaes...

Almost time to visit Erin and, the car will be full of thrift find goodies again this time.

Erin is one lucky girl!
You have some great finds.
I'm a friend of Erin's who also
likes thrifting.

Thanks Cinda! She and I just love thrifting and keep a lookout for goodies for the other...She has two fabulous stores in her neighborhood if you live close to her....Humane Society and Hubbard House. They are GREAT shops.

Woohoo! That Hamilton is in brand new condition it looks like. Fancy pancy!

I got Stephen a fleece shirt today. He needed some more warm stuff for our vacation up north. (Yeah I just refered to Tenn as "up north")

I love all that stuff! I'm so lucky.

Couldn't we just pretend that I'm really Erin in disguise so you can send me those fabbo tea towels?? ;o)

I think of "The Queen of Fifty Cents" whenever that is the price of something I get nowadays. The tea towels are pretty cool. But I wonder why a pear is skateboarding? The mommy pitcher and baby cup are great though.
